Online Booking System

  1. Making A Reservation
    1. To make a reservation on-line use the secure bookings page or telephone us at Scottish Travel Services on (0044) 1236 874646 . Select your holiday or tour by requesting a quote via this website. We will contact you promptly with a complete costing and customised itinerary and quote number. We will ask you to review our suggestions and when you are satisfied, we require that the deposit be paid via our secure online booking system (you will be advised of the deposit amount for your particular tour at time of booking.).
    2. Due to the requirement of golf courses, accomodation etc. being paid in advance, your balance is due 10 weeks prior to your scheduled tour commencement. Tours and holidays reserved within the 10 week period are payable in full.
  2. Payment
    1. Scottish Travel Services accept the following credit/debit cards:

      • Solo
      • Electron
      • JCB
    2. Alternatively we accept cheques up to 14 days before start date.
  3. Price Quotation
    1. Prices quoted are guaranteed when deposit is received.
  4. Cancelations
    1. Final payment is required 10 weeks before tour/holiday start date. If payment is not received by date stated on the invoice Scottish Travel Services reserves the right to cancel the arrangement and deposits will be non-refundable.
    2. Cancellation by the guest must be made in writing (not fax) or e-mail.
    3. In the event of cancellation by the guest the following charges will apply:
    4. Written notice of cancellation received 10 weeks prior to start date deposit is non refundable. However if any additional monies have been paid then the balance will be refunded minus the deposit.
    5. Scottish Travel Services remits full payment for golfing green fees, accommodation, car/bus hire, and ferry sailings on receipt of payment by the guest. We regret that the company can only refund the amount reclaimed from suppliers according to the cancellation conditions of the suppliers, less deposit.
    6. No refunds will be made for cancellations within 42 days of commencement of tour/holiday. The only exceptions to this that Scottish Travel Services will consider are death or serious injury to a party member (original physicians certificate must be provided in cases like these).
  5. Insurance
    1. Scottish Travel Services recommend guests take out their own insurance to cover forced cancellation, loss or damage to luggage and golf equipment, personal injury, accident or illness. Scottish Travel Services cannot be held responsible for any of these circumstances.
  6. Responsibility
    1. Scottish Travel Services and/or its agents accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delays on roads, airline schedules, ferries or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantines or other causes.
    2. Passports, visas, health certificates, golf handicaps and other documents are the responsibility of the guest who must accept any additional charges due to lack of such documentation and/or failure to comply with any regulations.
  7. Data Security
    1. Scottish Travel Services fully complies with all data legislation including the Data Protection Act (1984). All client information will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be disclosed to any third parties other than suppliers of services directly involved with the client's tour or holiday.
    2. The booking page on this website uses SSL encryption to ensure that data (such as credit card numbers) cannot be intercepted and used for fraudulent purposes as the data is transferred from the visitor's computer to the website.
